Bluesletter – Easter 08

Welcome to the latest newsletter. I’m now finally back on line. Huge congratulations to Jonathan and Emilie from Sweden on their marriage. I look forward to seeing you both soon. No news yet from Gordy (Carlton Blues) on the Blues Rally. As soon as I get any information I’ll send out a special newsletter to everyone with all the details.

I’ve now established contact with a new scooter club just set up in the Ukraine . Their website can be found at http://donbass-scooter.clan.su . No translation into English available yet but I’m hoping they will be able to add it soon. Please add this link to your sites if you can and take the time to visit and leave a message on their guestbook. They are very keen to link up with us so let’s make them feel welcome.

A new website will launch this weekend at www.bluessc.eu . It will contain pages for our smaller branches who don’t have their own website. Check it out.

Scotland

The Edinburgh Blues hold their annual Open Day and Easter Egg Run at Eclipse Scooters on 30 th March. For more details check out their website at www.edinburghbluessc.co.uk .

A big thank you to Happy Durals, Tony 1 shirt and raffle donators for a brilliant evening and raising nearly £500 for Papworth Hospital where my mother has been looked after this year.

English Blues
Id like to start with congratulations to Jonathon & Emelie on there Marriage and to Clare and Dave Grimsby Blues on the arrival of there Baby Daughter Anna. As a joint venture some of the English Blues and Pathfinders Sc are putting on a St Georges day do (which I know may not interest some of you over the border) At the Warlocks MC club house in Grimsby on the 19th April. We have managed to get "Scum" oi band from Yorkshire to head the evening with Tony & Dean on the decks. We have also booked the Happy Durals for a return visit for the Grimsby Blues do on the 27th September in Grimsby .
 

Switzerland

For the Swiss Blues S.C. the start of this year’s scooter season was the Austrian custom show in ried. There we met some of the Austrian and Munich blues. Our next destination will be the great Yarmouth rally. Hope to see some other blues members there.
